Who needs it: Hungry people everywhere.
What it does: Finds restaurants near you, allows you to view restaurant menus and upload photos of your favorite dishes.

Who needs it: Visitors to the Memphis Zoo
What it does: Create your own schedule for your visit (you can add keeper chats, feedings and shows to an itinerary), view a map of the zoo, get information about the animals in different sections of the zoo, and check out the latest zoo news. The app also allows you to find friends that may be visiting at the same time you are.

3. Commercial Appeal Garage Sale Finder
Who needs it: Treasure hunters, the thrifty
What it does: Lists all of the garage and estate sale ads from the Commercial Appeal and maps them (with directions). You can sort by the most recently added sales, those closest to you, and those in the region. Unfortunately, the app doesn't currently allow you to create a custom list of sales and route them.

What it does: View pictures of Memphis, a calendar of city-wide events, check out the best in Memphis Music, find out about new restaurants, shops and things to do.
