Firstly, I think we need to take a moment to congratulate the Memphis Grizzlies on their winning record. The Grizz beat the Portland Trail Blazers 109-105 last night. In other basketball related news, the University of Memphis Tigers are playing #7 ranked Syracuse at Syracuse tonight. The game starts at 6 p.m. Central and will be broadcast on ESPN2 (and on ESPN's Web site). Also, if you haven't noticed, it's super cold outside. If you've got any coats that you're not using, the Memphis Union Mission needs them. If you haven't heard already, there's a fairly good (80 percent) chance that it's going to snow in Memphis sometime late tonight. (The grocery stores have probably already been cleared of all of their bread and milk, though.) On the off chance that it does actually snow, please be careful driving. The city is doing what they can to make sure the roads are safe. Remember that most people here don't have to contend with winter weather very often, so be patient, maintain safe distance, and go at a reasonable speed.
