I went outside a few minutes ago to check out the results of the winter storm that's happening in Memphis today. In all four years that I lived in the arctic tundras of Indiana, I never saw ice rain like Memphis is getting right now. It might not look like much, but my poor pink yard flamingo is covered in a layer of ice (as is the rest of my front yard). The ice rain of death is supposed to continue until tomorrow morning, but temperatures will drop tonight. If you're headed out, be careful, drive slowly, and put something heavy in the back of your hatchbacks.
