Some of the best graffiti in Memphis isn't spraypainted on brick walls or overpasses - it's knit onto poles outside of coffee shops around Memphis. The Memphis Knit Mafia, a group of guerilla knitters, tags their favorite Memphis hang outs with colorful, hand-knit awesomeness. So far, Cafe Eclectic and Poplar Perk'n have been tagged (as have a few people). They're also attempting the I Love Memphis Scavenger Hunt. I'm afraid they may beat met to the finish line - they've already got quite the start.
