Those Darlins at the HiTone Tonight
Those Darlins at the HiTone Tonight
Ok, so they're from Murfreesboro, not Memphis, but Those Darlins are play here so much that we should at least be able to claim them as semi-local.
I've loved Those Darlins since the night I saw them open for Holly Golightly at the HiTone in 2007. They're country, but they're totally punk rock. They're the sweethearts in cowboy boots that will whisper sweet nothings in your ear and punch you in the face if you get too fresh. And their songs are about boys, mama, being crazy and getting drunk and eating chicken.
The three-girl country-gone-crazy band is playing at the HiTone tonight with King Kahn and BBQ Show.
(If you make it to the show, come say hi. I'll be the one still sweaty from derby practice.)

Hey! Sorry I didn't get the chance to talk to you a little more last night, I looked for you later but it was a mad house. Also, they were freaking awesome, as expected! See you around.
