These things didn't quite merit an entire post on their own, but I think they go well together. - Five in One is having their first-ever rock'n'roll show tonight at 9 p.m. Wilhelmina Baker, Shane Shane and 3D Acid Glasses (from Memphis) will be playing at 10 p.m. for the low, low price of free. - There's a brand new restaurant open on Madison called Market Cafe. I had a soup and salad for lunch there today, and it was pretty delicious. Their menu focuses on seasonal and local food, and they're in the process of getting Project Greenfork certified. They're open from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday - Friday. - If you haven't sent a postcard to First Lady Michelle Obama inviting her to the ribbon cutting for LeBonheur's new building, there's no better time than the present. I've got some postcards to give out or you can get them from LeBonheur. - The Grizzlies start their new season tomorrow night at the FedEx Forum. They'll be playing new Grizzly Allen Iverson's old team, the Detroit Pistons (which could be a fun grudge match, if Iverson plays). Three 6 Mafia, Lil Rounds and the JabbaWockeez (from "America's Best Dance Crew") will be preforming.
