I write about what’s going on with Memphis music, food, arts, events, sports, people, and culture. Memphians love Elvis and barbeque with a passion that must be seen to be believed, but there is so much more to this place.

  1. I went there Saturday night on this advice, and you were spot-on about their selection.  Hell, they have Goose Island beers, for anyone who has tasted them in the Chicago area!

However, their check-out lines took forever.  Maybe going in there on Saturday night wasn't the best idea, but their beer selection is all that you say and more.

  2. Maggie says:

Does anyone know if this applies to other Cash Savers? I just realized this weekend that there's one not too far from me on Perkins.

  3. Matt says:

Steve, Goose Island is owned by Anheuser-Busch now, that's why it can be found here.

  4. Oh, great.  I hope they left the formulas alone.

  5. Keshia Williams says:

The best time to go there is early on Sunday mornings.  It can get quite congested in there because we all love the great prices.

  6. Posey says:

I went Sat night and got the make your own six pack. Will be going there from now! Great selection.

  7. Kevin says:

Have anyone checked out the Midtown Market's Beer Selection?

Short line at the check out and local family owned business will always keep you smiling…

Companies that dump craft beer on the market will not only kill locally owd buness but will also make the craft beer brewery get bought out by large corporate distributor!!

I guess as long as corporate owned mega grocery companies and mega coporate distributors keep dumping craft beers on the market small mom and pop stores will go out of business!!! Support Local!!
