365 Memphians - Chris Black

Chris Blake is a hip-hop artist based in Memphis. He’s originally from Memphis, but he tours the country playing music. If you’d like to hear him, pick up his record “Everybody Loves Chris Blake” or check out this clip of him performing on Live From Memphis’ “60 Seconds”.


365 Memphians - Julie and David Hanebrink

David and Julia Hanebrink were photographed on their front porch in Central Gardens. Julia is a djunct professor and project coordinator for the MHIRT (Minority Health International Research Training) grant at Christian Brothers University and an anthropology PhD student at UT Knoxville. David is an Iraq war veteran who now works on building projects in Memphis. He’s one of the people responsible for the Woodland Discovery Playground and the new baseball stadium at the University of Memphis.
