I write about what’s going on with Memphis music, food, arts, events, sports, people, and culture. Memphians love Elvis and barbeque with a passion that must be seen to be believed, but there is so much more to this place.

Did you play a song yesterday morning that was a blusey, dark sort with a female and male on vocals with the recurring "black caffene" lyric? I'm almost positive it had to be your time slot. I apologize it my mind is playing tricks on me!

Sorry to bother you but I did find the song by Emmylou Harris. It helps when you spell caffeine correctly.
