See Your Work Here: October Call for Submissions
See Your Work Here: October Call for Submissions
If I've learned anything over the past three years, it's that Memphisis full of crazy talented people. You guys are amazing photographers, writers, artists, designers and idea-havers.
So, this October, we're going to try something new on I Love Memphis: I'm issuing the blog's first ever monthly call for submissions. There's a theme, too - Memphis Firsts (creative, I know).
Here's how it's going to work: During the month of October, in addition to the regular I Love Memphis goodness that you've come to expect, I'm going to publish content - both mine and yours - that centers around the theme "Memphis Firsts".
If you've got an idea for a story, a photo series, a playist, an interview, whatever - I want to hear it. If it's something that you'd like to work on for publication here, that's awesome. If it's an idea that you'd like to see someone else tackle, I'd like to hear that, too. The ideas need to focus on Memphis, because that's what we do here.
All submissions will be considered and the best / most interesting ones will be published.
Now's the time. If you've always wanted to do a photo series of the first few minutes of the day or a list of things that Memphis leads the world in or want to know what it's like to try something for the first time, here's your chance.
I'm accepting submissions until Oct. 15, but the sooner you get them in, the better.
