365 Memphians - Samuel Wood

Samuel "Otto" Wood is a Wordpress developer based in Memphis. He's a good one, too - in the few minutes we spent hanging out at Bluff City Coffee on Friday afternoon, he managed to find (and tell me how to fix) several issues I was having with the blog.

365 Memphians - Debbi La Rue

Debbi La Rue is the market manager at the Cooper-Young Community Farmers Market. The CYCFM is open every Saturday (now year round!) in the parking lot of First Congregational Church. When she's not making sure everything goes smoothly at the CYCFM, Debbi volunteers at the South Memphis Farmers Market and studies anthropology at the University of Memphis.

365 Memphians - Christy Tweddle

By day, Christy Tweddle works in sales for Hampton Hotels. By night (and afternoon, and weekend), she's a volunteer for the Memphis Gay and Lesbian Community Center, which provides Memphis' GLBTQ community with a place to hang out, get support, and have fun. She's also on the board of the Tennessee Equality Project.

365 Memphians - Samantha Crespo

Samantha Crespo writes the Sam in the City blog for DiscoverAmerica.com, the US government's official travel site.  She moved to Memphis two years ago from Florida, and so far, she's happy with her Memphis experience. I photographed her in one of her favorite places, among the trees in the kids' section at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library.

Otto is somewhat better than "good". He's one of the best.
