I've been in something of a musical rut lately. Sometime after I started DJ-ing more than once a week, I stopped listening to music for myself and started considering every song as something I could play for other people.

But, I've found something that might help - it's Better Than Jail.

Better Than Jail is a new music blog run by the guys that run the Hi-Tone Cafe. Think of it as a guide to all of the unknown touring and local bands on the books at local venues. They've got live concert video, links to mp3s and loads of photos that are doing a lot to break up my rut.
