A few weeks ago, I got asked to have my picture taken with this sign (usually, I'm the one asking that!) as part of a new MIFA initiative called Something Good in Memphis.

Here's the idea: You know someone  or something that makes Memphis a better place. You go to the Something Good in Memphis site and nominate them. Then, they (or their awesome project)  get featured on the Something Good in Memphis site.

You can nominate anyone - your best friend, your amazing co-worker, the guy that put  that free extra shot of espresso in your latte because you looked like you needed it. The whole idea is to keep a running list of all of the wonderful people and things that make Memphis a special place to live.
