What Restaurant and Clubs Have Reopened In Memphis?

A list of places that have reopened recently. 

If you're fully vaccinated and ready to wear masks, social distance, and follow all the posted guidelines, these spots have reopened in the past few weeks for your going-out pleasure. 

Paula Raiford's Disco
Ziggy Tucker

Paula & Raiford’s Disco

Raiford's dance club has reopened! Fridays and Saturdays from 9 p.m. - 1 a.m. It's 21+ and be sure to mask up and follow all posted guidelines. Check Instagram for details. 

Bryant's Breakfast

Summer Avenue's favorite biscuits 'n' breakfast spot has reopened under new ownership, but with the same recipes and most of the staff is back. Read more about Bryant's.

The Majestic Grille

The Majestic is back open for dine-in, patio dining (with a new covering), and your Majestic menu favorites, plus a few hits from Cocozza. They're still offering takeout and curbside pickup, too. Open for dinner Wednesday through Saturday and brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Check Instagram for details.

THE WKND

The WKND lounge has reopened and is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 5 p.m. They're all starting up Sunday brunch on April 25th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Make your reservations online.

Tailor’s Union / The Pocket

Tailor's Union / The Pocket has reopened their speakeasy bar downtown. They're open Friday and Saturday nights, and you don't have to be member to go!

Mosa Asian Bistro

After being takeout-only for a long time, Mosa Asian Bistro in East Memphis has re-opened for inside dine-in during lunch only, Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dinner is still available for takeout (order online for curbside pickup or get your takeout and sit on the patio; no table service). Bhan Thai

Always on the top of midtown's favorite patios lists, Bhan Thai has reopened for dine-in and outdoor dining as of April 1.

Miss Polly’s Soul City Cafe

Beale Street's best chicken 'n' waffles spot has reopened with limited hours and a limited menu. Check their Facebook page for details. They aren't taking any crap, either, and I don't blame them!

Rumba Room

Rumba Room has been open through most of the pandemic with a new, yummy food menu, but they've recently reopened for dance nights. They serve lunch Tuesday through Saturday, dinner Fridays and Saturdays, dance lessons on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and salsa dancing on Fridays. Check Instagram for details.

Earnestine & Hazel's 

The beloved dive bar is back open with no major changes to the space or menu, and several of the staff are back, too. Read all the details.

Longshot

Longshot, the shuffleboard bar in the bottom of the ARRIVE hotel, reopened on April 28th with a full food menu and bar menu. Evenings only. Check them out on Instagram.

Coming Soon: Cafe Keough

Looks like Cafe Keough downtown plans to reopen their lovely coffee shop soon. I'll be following along on Instagram for official reopen dates. 

Coming Soon: Rec Room

Broad Avenue's barcade plans to reopen this spring.

Coming Soon: pontotoc Lounge

South Main's cocktail bar and supper club plans to reopen on May 7.

Coming Soon: The brass door

Downtown's Irish pub plans to reopen "soon". There's no set date.

Thank you for the reminders! I’m as pleased as anyone that we seem to be coming out of the worst of it but it can’t hurt to be careful.

Also, I’ve never worked for tips or delivered so I’m unclear what is appropriate (even more so in today’s climate). Is it safe to assume that 20-25% is enough?

Hi Jen! Yes, 20% - 25% is the standard. For delivery especially in rough conditions, I would consider tipping more based on the situation.
