How would you describe your style of music?

LuXXurious. It’s what happens when style clashes with soul and rap music. It’s a feel good feel with a dose of dopeness.

Is there a song of yours that is especially special to you and why?

They’re all special for every reason. I write to give the people who can’t speak to a feeling. So they relate to what I say.


What about Memphis inspires you creatively?

Besides my Unapologetic team, the people, the nightlife, and negative stuff and post it I’ve stuff makes me who is am.

What do you love about the current Memphis music scene? 

I love the diversity and the way people are creating their own wave/ sound.

Which place gives you that Memphis vibe?

Inkwell, Beale Street at night, Grizzlies games.

Do you have a story that changed you as an artist, a moment in time that moved the needle for you?

Any conversation with IMAKEMADBEATS moves the needle. That’s my brother.

What is the most unexpected music interest you have?
