Your Guide To Mid-South Pride This Weekend In Memphis
Get ready for the most colorful weekend of the year, Memphis! It’s Mid-South Pride Weekend, and everyone’s invited to join in the fun. June is Pride Month, and we're going to do it up big in Memphis!
Mid-South Pride Fest Schedule
Thursday: Drag N Drive
The festivities kick off Thursday night at the Summer Drive-In at the Drag 'n' Drive show, featuring the amazing film To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar! at 8 p.m., followed by a drag show at 10 p.m. Tickets are $35 per vehicle and there are limited numbers available, so get yours ASAP.
Friday: Big Gay Dance Party
Gather at the Crosstown Theater at 8 p.m. on Friday night for the Friends For Life Big Gay Dance Party! After midnight, head to afterparties at Dru's Place and The Pumping Station. Tickets and details.
Saturday: Memphis Pride Festival 2022 and parade
Saturday morning, head Downtown to the annual Mid-South Pride Festival, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Robert Church Park. Expect vendors, performances, and tons of fun. Admission is $1.
The annual Mid-South Pride parade is Saturday afternoon. Put on your most colorful attire and have a blast at one of the city’s most lively parades, which kicks off at 1 p.m. at the corner of 4th and Beale, heading west down Beale. Arrive early to grab a great viewing spot.
From Mid-South Pride: The procession features over 100 units with 2,500+ participants of all ages and backgrounds including church groups, performing arts groups, museums, high school & college groups, senior groups, non-profit organizations, city & county leaders, local businesses, and corporate brands.
Sunday: grand marshall drag brunch
On Sunday morning, bring your appetite to Jerry Lee Lewis's on Beale for the Grand Marshall Drag Brunch at 11 a.m. Celebrate this years Grand Marshalls (Artavius Veasey, Ray Rico, and Regina Hillman) and enjoy a drag show!
