Senior Safari at the Memphis Zoo

Senior Safari, an event hosted by The Professional Network on Aging in conjunction with the Memphis Zoo, is scheduled for Wednesday, October 4 th from 9 to 2. Admission is free for those 55 and older. All set in the incredible Memphis Zoo, seniors will have the opportunity to visit the 3500 animals, including the Teton Trek, the Zambezi River Hippo Camp, the Primate Canyon, and Cat Country.

This complimentary full day of events specifically designed for Senior Adults 55 and older will include a health and vendor fair featuring Caregiving, Hospice, Home Health Care, Insurance, Housing, Healthy living and many more.

The Entertainment stage boasts a great line up, including The Eager Street Duo at 10, the Yellow Bandannas at noon, followed by the crowd-pleasing Jim Mahannah Band at 1, sponsored by Creative Aging. Elvis (Impersonator) has not left the building and will make a cameo appearance to grace the stage.
