Memphis Mushroom Festival

Memphis Mushroom Festival (MMF) is a 5-day, 4-night transformational camping festival.

MMF offers inspiring speakers, educated mycologists, workshops, local farmers, unbelievable food and cooking demonstrations from talented chefs, guided forays through the forest, live music & DJs, yoga, dancing and more!

Get creative and feel free to be your weird, wild wonderful self.  You can wear costumes and deck out your campsite for a chance to win the Best Theme Camp Award! Brings things to share, trade, or barter. Instruments, ceremonies, light installations, hoops, fire are all welcome. Bring your ideas!

This is a family-friendly event but be aware that it covers several acres and will involve some adventure and endurance. 

Our lecture topics will include: Mycology, Organic Horticulture, Vegetarian Culture, Psychedelic Medicine, Current Legal Status of Plant Medicine, All About CBD, Hydroponic Gardening, Meditation & Mindfulness, Natural Alternatives to Carcinogenic Products, Cooking with Wild Foods, Superfoods, Plants as Medicine, Inoculating logs with Mushroom Spores, Home Grown Mushrooms, Basic Green Thumbery, Nature Miracles, Nutrition and Cooking, Composting with Mushroom Spores, Innovative Uses of Mycelium, Fungus as Medicine...

We will also have live music nightly, interactive demonstrations, forays, chef’s food tastings, dancing, art, DJ’s, and more…join us!

The full 5 day, 4 night pass to all Mushroom Fest events from May 26-30 is $50. Individual Day passes are $20 and children 5 years and younger get in free.

Thursday May 26 starting at 3pm, Come on in, set up Camp, Meet Your Neighbors, Get the Layout of the Land

Friday May 27, 9am-Midnight: Classes, Lectures, Projects, Chef Demonstrations, Forays during the day and Music Starting at 6pm.

Saturday May 28, 9am-Midnight: Classes, Lectures, Projects, Chef Demonstrations, Forays during the day and Music Starting at 6pm.

Sunday May 29, 9am-Midnight: Classes, Lectures, Projects, Chef Demonstrations, Forays during the day and Blues Music Starting at 6pm.

Monday, May 30, Memorial Day, Say Goodbye top your new friends and pack up and leave no trace. Checkout time is 11am.

2) Invite a fun and creative group
3) Come join us in Shelby Forest May 26-30, 2022
4) Bring costumes, musical instruments, lights, something to teach, share or show.
5) Leave all your worries behind for a few days and come have a blast with us in the forest!
