Description:

The Artist Group of Memphis, presents their September art show at St. George’s Episcopal Church Art Gallery, Germantown, Tennessee. The Artist Group showcases their love of art throughout the month of September. Members Sherry and Wayne Carpenter are known for their photos, paintings and wood carvings. Wayne has won many awards for his carved birds. Sandra Hill’s artistic interpretation of ladies is well known throughout the southern area for her combination of ink and acrylic. Caroline Brown’s photos of scenes throughout the country speak for the beauty of America. We all love Missy George’s contemporary interpretation of art. Pat Patterson’s bright colors brings joy and light to the gallery. Lisa Balton’s art is very well known throughout the south. Susie Richmond’s beach paintings are fabulous. These are just some of the artists in THE ARTIST GROUP OF MEMPHIS.

A portion of the proceeds from sales in The Gallery supports the work of Carpenter Art Garden, which brings the arts to the underserved Binghampton community. St. George’s Art Gallery is located within St. George’s Episcopal Church and is accessed through the front doors.  The Gallery is open M – F from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
