Curated by David Perry Smith, Memphis Minimalism is a group exhibition of five photographers living and working in Memphis, Tennessee. The work in the show considers both the iconic and the lonesome while grounding itself in Memphis’ urban and rural landscapes.
Artists in the exhibition include: Stephanie Wexler, Jon W Sparks, Joey Miller, Houston Cofield & Tim Barker.
The opening reception for the exhibition will be Saturday, November 12 from 5-8pm.The exhibition will be display November 10 – 27 in a pop-up gallery space on the second floor of 600 Monroe Avenue adjacent to High Cotton Brewing Co.
