Snowden School Foundation will host its third annual fundraiser, Lights, Camera, SNOWDEN!, on May 6, 2018
Memphis, TN – The Snowden School Foundation will host its third annual fundraiser, Lights Camera, Snowden! to raise funds to upgrade Snowden School’s auditorium with improved lighting, a modern sound system and new curtains. From quarterly award ceremonies and student musical showcases to productions by traveling performers and monthly faculty meetings, the school auditorium is a place where every member of the Snowden community can gather, learn and shine.
Lights, Camera, SNOWDEN! will bring Snowden families, faculty and staff together with the greater Memphis community for a private party at Wiseacre Brewing Co. Musical entertainment will be provided by Steve Selvidge. Selvidge is known worldwide as a member of the Hold Steady; at home in Memphis, he wears many hats, from Snowden alumnus and parent to solo artist and member of Sons of Mudboy, the super-group that channels the sound of his father, Sid, and Jim Dickinson. Tickets are $25 per individual and can be purchased at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/lights-camera-snowden-tickets-44916435267. Ticket purchasers will also receive one complimentary beverage and souvenir glass. The event will also feature student artwork in a silent auction.
