· Monthly Gardening Task List
· Kitchen Garden Planting & Harvesting Guide
· New format allows you to schedule personal appointments
· Daily Tracking of Each Month’s Public Gardening Events
· Lists of Flowering Plants That Thrive in Shelby County every month of the year
· Contact Information for the Gardening Community

The calendar is a perfect gift or holiday stocking stuffer for yourself or your favorite gardener. It is available for purchase online at www.memphisareamastergardeners.org, from November 14th – December 13th, 2019. It is also available at several gardening centers and retail outlets in the Memphis area. It is the most comprehensive, detailed and Memphis area-focused gardening resource available and is produced by MAMG members. Retail price is $15 with all proceeds going to support Shelby County Master Gardener initiatives.

The 2020 MAMG 12 month calendar is full of resources for both the novice weekend gardener and the professional horticulturist. Each month, a “To Do” feature outlines planting, lawn care, pruning, fertilization and general tips to help organize gardening tasks. This year’s calendar contains new feature articles on topics important and relevant to Mid-South gardeners.

Memphis Area Masters Gardeners is a community initiative of the University of Tennessee Extension program which certifies volunteers through the Tennessee Master Gardener program. MAMG members provide the public with research-based home horticulture information. Shelby County has more than 400 MAMG members; statewide there are about 2,100 members in 39 counties.
