Bookstock is the annual local writer’s festival that celebrates and showcases the literature and expertise of a diverse group of local talent. This year’s festival will celebrate Memphis’ Bicentennial! Featuring a panel of local historians such as Jimmy Ogle, Otis Sanford, Wayne Dowdy and Jocelyn Wurzburg- Memphis history will take center stage! Complete with a keynote address by local writer Lisa Patton, author of the critically acclaimed novel ‘Rush’, Bookstock is an exciting hodgepodge of activities and resources for all ages. Come out and enjoy face painting, bilingual storytime, educational seminars, free tax prep, local food trucks, music and more!
