Memphis Crawfish Festivals 2021
Porter-Leath’s Rajun Cajun Crawfish Fest - April 17th and 18th
One of Memphis’s huge crawfish fests is Rajun Cajun. This downtown event benefits Porter-Leath and is usually spread out along Riverside Drive and all up in Wagner Place 1. Usually, there are three stages of live music, lots of games and contests, food vendors, a kids' area, and another million pounds of crawfish.
For 2021: Porter Leath’s Ragun Cajun crawfish festival will be drive through with two different locations this year: Saturday, April 17 from noon to 5 p.m. at Minglewood Hall and Sunday, April 18 from noon to 5 p.m. at Malco Cordova Cinema. You can pre-order your crawfish online.
Overton Square's Crawfish Festival - cancelled for 2021
This event is usually nuts. It's a million people, a million pounds of crawfish, streets full of vendors, art, music, and activities. It's chaotic (especially later in the day) but in a fun way. Think of it as the official start to Spring in midtown. They will tow your car if you leave it in a lot in Overton the night before. Don't ask me how I know. It's not happening in 2021, may be back in 2022.
The regular festival is usually around April 10th each year, from noon to 6 p.m. and takes over Overton Square, which is blocked off to traffic.
