RedBall Is Coming To Memphis
RedBall Is Coming To Memphis
In case you missed it: there's a big red ball coming to Memphis next week. Why, you ask? Why not, I say!
Artist Kurt Perschke has taken his 250-pound inflated red ball all over the world (think Abu Dhabi, Paris, Montreal, to name a few) and now, he's bringing it to Memphis in honor of the Brooks Museum's 100th Anniversary Celebration.
This 10-day installation is ripe for lots of social media fun and picture posing, so be sure to use hashtag #redballproject if you're into that sort of thing.
You can also enter an Instagram contest (I have no details yet) presumably by following @redballproject on Instagram and using #myrbmemphis on that platform.
If you're just curious about this big bold roll-y thing headed our way, here is the daily schedule, starting next Thursday. Which one will you make it to?
