You're Invited To The Dia De Los Muertos Festival 2023

The Brooks Museum and Cazateatro Bilingual Theater invite you to the annual Dia De Los Muertos Festival & Parade this Saturday, October 28th! 

From Cazateatro:

FREE art-making / Amazing Performances / Live Music / Face Painting / FREE Museum Admission and SO MUCH MORE‼️

In addition, altars will be displayed at Brooks Museum, and traditional Day of the Dead food and beverages will be for sale. FREE EVENT with registration. This is a family-friendly event, so bring the kids and enjoy the festivities!

Decorate a Mariposa (butterfly) and dedicate it to a loved one who has passed away. Bring it to this event at the museum and hang it in the education gallery. Read more info here.

Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday that honors and celebrates ancestors and the cycle of life and death. It's not Halloween, but it is observed during the first few days of November right after Halloween.
