I have good news if you're looking for an excuse to combine three of the best things on earth: coffee, whiskey, and sugar. It's National Irish Coffee Day!

Celtic Crossing in Cooper Young naturally has an Irish coffee special today to go along with their weekend brunch. They made a quick video showing their recipe:

Also in Cooper Young, I recommend the Irish Coffee from Alchemy. I recently ate everything on the brunch menu there (well, almost) and finished off with the sweet jolt of this drink. It's basically dessert, and I highly recommend it.

Slider Inn's two locations are serving up Irish coffee today - or anytime - with their signature Jameson Irish Whiskey. It's like the winter counterpart to their infamous Jameson slushie. If you haven't been to the new downtown location, make a plan to check it out soon.

The Arcade Restaurant is serving up Irish Coffees for $1 off today (January 25, 2020) and doing a promotion with Slane Irish Whiskey for swag, too. I bet this would go great with their sweet potato pancakes.

Belle Tavern downtown knows their whiskey, so it's no surprise they offer a mean Irish Coffee. For National Irish Coffee Day only, they're doing $5 Irish Coffees. Belle Tavern opens at 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and at noon on Sundays.
