Hungry? Thirsty? Puck Food Hall in South Main is worth a visit! The historic building at 409 S. Main is home to multiple restaurant stands, a bar, a coffee shop, and dessert options. There’s free wifi and places to sit and hang out. Puck also regularly hosts special events and dinners

It’s a great place to take a date, the family, or friends. You can have lunch, or spend a happy hour with an early evening meal, or pop in before dinner or an event. The space is welcoming and the perfect place to gather.

Stopping by Puck during Trolley Nights on South Main (the last Friday of the month) is when you’re going to see the most action. But there’s somewhere for breakfast, lunch, or early dinner most days, expect Mondays (everything’s closed on Mondays).

Let’s talk about the vendors! We have:

Bar 409  serves inventive craft cocktails, with a small beer and wine list. The bar is open Tuesday – Friday from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight, and Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., depending on how busy it is.

Dr. Beans is a local roastery with third wave coffee drinks. Open at 7 a.m., Tuesday – Saturday.

Wok ‘n In Memphis put together American-Chinese food like dumplings, noodles, rice, and more.

Dee’Lightful Bliss Bakery is there when you need a sugar fix: cupcakes, cheesecake, and the most amazing cookies.

Eat Radical is committed to locally sourced fresh, nourishing food. Their kale quinoa salad sounds like health food, but it might be my favorite thing in the whole food hall. Open for lunch Tuesday – Saturday, dinner on Thursday and Friday.

City Block Salumeria brings you classic deli sandwiches and cured meats. For their breakfast sandwiches, go to their other stand in the food hall, Venga. They also run DoughJo.

Venga serves tacos, tostadas, sopes, and entrees. Insta says they’re open 8 a.m. – 10 p.m., Tuesday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. Check in or call for latest details.

DoughJo  cooks up tasty pizzas with all kinds of toppings. Insta says they’re open Tuesday – Thursday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sweet Magnolia Gelato brings their beloved Southern gelato brand to Memphis! Try all kinds of fresh and unique flavors of creamy gelato, plus sorbets.

Pasta di Strada (formerly Pasta 409) cooks up handmade pastas and sauces; you can even build your own dish, choosing pasta, sauce, and an optional protein. Open for lunch and dinner, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays (until 9 p.m. on Fri. and Sat) and from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday. Closed Monday.

I would like more information on the pork dumplings that are steamed and then pan seared. This sounds like it could be better than bacon
