365 Things to Do in Memphis, Day 7: Take Lucchesi's Home

365 Things to Do in Memphis, Day 7: Take Lucchesi's Home

Day seven's assignment is particularly delicious: Go to Lucchesi's and pick up some dinner.

Lucchesi's Italian grocery store in East Memphis stocks all kinds of breads, pastas, cheeses, olives and salamis. What's better is tha they also sell all kinds of homemade Italian treats.

They've got a deli counter where you can pick up sandwiches, pizzas to cook at home and ready-to-bake pastas. They'll even prepare their pasta in one of your serving dishes so that it looks like you made it yourself.

Also, where else are you going to find barbecue ravioli?

I moved here from Michigan and I've been searching for a good Greek Salad.  Back home the Greek Salads are made with beets.  I ordered one from Lucchesi's (it came with roasted tomatoes).  That was the BEST Greek Salad I've ever had.  Absolutely delish.  They also sent me a cookie, I believe it was Lemon.  OMG!!!!!!!!!!  is all I can say.
