Places To See Santa In Memphis
Santa Claus stays plenty busy during the Christmas season in Memphis attending events and setting up shop at local venues for visits and photos.
If you’re looking to take the kids to see Santa in Memphis and the Midsouth, here are plenty of events and locations where you can find him.
Santa Claus stops by the Memphis Zoo during Zoo Lights, open select nights from November 22 through December 30. Zoo Lights includes holiday light displays, singing trees, crafts, and more. Your visit with Santa is included in the cost of admission ($10 nonmembers) and professional photos are available for an additional fee. Activities like the Ferris Wheel and ice skating can be enjoyed for additional fees.
Take the family to the 65+ year old Memphis Christmas tradition featuring holiday displays of winter creatures, uniquely decorated trees, a gingerbread village, and a visit with Santa. Tickets to the Enchanted Forest are $6 for adults and $5 for kids and seniors, and the event is open daily through December 31. In years past, Santa was only around until Christmas Eve and photo packages started at $10.
Travel to Santa’s Wonderland at the Bass Pro Pyramid through Christmas Eve for plenty of activities, crafts, and fun for the kids, November 22 – December 24. It’s free to experience this holiday event at Bass Pro and have your kids or pets take pictures with Santa Claus, but space is limited and you need to grab a free “Bass Pass” to save your spot. After you drive through the million-plus twinkling lights at Shelby Farms’ Starry Nights displays, stop in to Mistletoe Village for more holiday fun. Santa will be in his workshop through December 23 during Starry Nights hours. It’s $20 to enter Starry Nights and photo packages are priced separately. Leashed pets and kids are welcome to take photos with Santa.
Carriage Crossing shopping center in Collierville will host Santa Claus for keepsake photos every day through December 24. Find Santa’s Workshop near Dillard’s, open from noon to 6 p.m. daily. You can make a reservation online to cut down on wait time. Photo package prices vary.
Visit with Santa Claus at Oak Court Mall in Memphis. Santa’s hours start at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. daily through December 28 (see the full schedule here). Photo prices vary.
Wolfchase Galleria Mall hosts Santa Claus for visits and photos in Memphis daily from morning until evening through Christmas Eve. You can reserve a FastPass online to avoid long lines.
The Shops of Saddle Creek
The Shops of Saddle Creek in Germantown will free photos with Santa through December 22. You’ll get a printed and a digital copy from Party Towne Photo Booth. Vaccinated, friendly, leashed pets are welcome to take photos with Santa, too.
The Morton Museum of Collierville History offers a chance for kids to meet with Mrs. Claus for storytime, sing-a-long, and candy canes and cocoa on December 6.
The Town of Collierville will host a holiday celebration in the town square on Saturdays on December, through the 21st. Head to the gazebo for Photos With Santa from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, plus plenty of other activities like carriage rides, caroling, and more.
Take a little trip to Cedar Hill Farm in Hernando, Mississippi for a meal and photos with Santa on Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas and select Sundays. Price varies depending on the meal and includes a petting zoo, train ride, play areas, and hayrides. There are very limited hours available just for Santa visits and photos, no meal. Special Events To See Santa In Memphis
Aldo’s Downtown hosts free photos with Santa, crafts, cookies, and more on Saturday, December 14 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is one unwrapped gift for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis.
Visit Santa at Cooper Young’s Irish Pub on December 15 from noon to 3:30 p.m. Bring the kids – it’s free!
