16 Memphis Pies For National Pie Day

National Pie Day comes but..twice a year? National Pie Day (the food) is January 23 by some accounts, but most people have decided to co-opt the mathematical holiday of National Pi Day on March 14th (which is supposed to celebrate Pi the number, 3.14) and make this day in March all about stuffing our faces with sweet pastries.

Who cares? Eat pie when you want. Find the best pie in town. Lord knows Memphis and the Mid-south have a ton of delicious pie places and bakeries where you can enjoy flaky, sweet, satisfying ultimate dessert comfort food: pie.

To celebrate, here is a post filled some of the best places to get pie in Memphis, in no particular order. Think of it as a family photo album places to get pie in the Mid-South. There are probably a few more I could add to this list, too. Let me know your favorites in the comments!

I write about what’s going on with Memphis music, food, arts, events, sports, people, and culture. Memphians love Elvis and barbeque with a passion that must be seen to be believed, but there is so much more to this place.
