Places To See Santa In Memphis
Santa Claus stays plenty busy during the Christmas season in Memphis attending events and setting up shop at local venues for visits and photos.
If you’re looking to take the kids to see Santa in Memphis and the Midsouth, here are plenty of events and locations where you can find him.
Santa Claus stops by the Memphis Zoo during Zoo Lights, open select nights from November 29 through December 29. Zoo Lights includes holiday light displays, singing trees, crafts, and more. Your visit with Santa is included in the cost of admission ($9 nonmembers). Activities like camel rides, Ferris Wheel, and ice skating can be enjoyed for additional fees.
Take the family to the 65-year old Memphis Christmas tradition featuring holiday displays of winter creatures, uniquely decorated trees, a gingerbread village, and a visit with Santa. Tickets to the Enchanted Forest are $6 for adults and $5 for kids and seniors. Take photos with Santa until Christmas Eve; photo packages start at $10.
Travel to Santa’s Wonderland at the Bass Pro Pyramid through Christmas Eve for plenty of activities, crafts, and fun for the kids. It’s free to experience this holiday event at Bass Pro and take pictures with Santa Claus. Photos with Santa are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily (until 5 p.m. on Sundays) and free crafts take place in the afternoons. See the schedule.
After you drive through the million-plus twinkling lights at Shelby Farms’ Starry Nights displays, stop in to Mistletoe Village for more holiday fun. Santa will be in his workshop through December 23 during Starry Nights hours, and on Saturdays from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Photo packages start at $25. It’s $20 per car to enter Starry Nights.
Carriage Crossing shopping center in Colliverille will host Santa Claus for keepsake photos every day through December 24. Find Santa’s Workshop near Dillard’s, open from noon to 6 p.m. daily. You can make a reservation online to cut down on wait time. Photo package prices vary. There are special pet photos and sensory sensitive Santa visits available during the holidays as well.
Visit with Santa Claus at Oak Court Mall in Memphis at the lower level center court, across from Godiva’s. Santa’s hours start at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. daily through December 24 (see the full schedule here). Photo prices vary. Sensory sensitive Santa visits and pet photos are also available on select days.
Wolfchase Galleria Mall hosts Santa Claus for visits and photos in Memphis daily from morning until evening through Christmas Eve. You can reserve a FastPass online to avoid long lines.
The Shops of Saddle Creek
The Vera Bradley store at The Shops of Saddle Creek in Germantown will offer free photos with Santa on Saturday, December 8 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, December 15 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The photos use green screen technology, so don’t dress your kids in green. Vaccinated, friendly, leashed pets are welcome to take photos with Santa, too.
You can find Santa and Mrs. Claus in Olive Branch, Mississippi at the Olive Branch City Hall this holiday season. Bring the kids for Santa visits on November 29, and December 3,4, and 6. Professional photos are available for purchase.
The Morton Museum of Collierville History offers a chance for kids to meet with Mrs. Claus for storytime, sing-a-long, and candy canes and cocoa on December 20 at 10:30 a.m. and again at 1:20 p.m. The program will last one hour.
The Town of Collierville will host a holiday celebration in the town square on November 24 and December 1,8, and 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Head to the gazebo for Photos With Santa from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, plus plenty of other activities like carriage rides, caroling, and more.
Take a little trip to Cedar Hill Farm in Hernando, Mississippi for a meal and photos with Santa on Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas and select Sundays. Price varies depending on the meal and includes a petting zoo, train ride, play areas, and hayrides. There are very limited hours available just for Santa visits and photos, no meal.
