365 Things to Do in Memphis #64: Get Your Picture Made in Amurica

Everyone loves a photo booth, especially when that photo booth is on wheels. Assignment #64 in the 365 Things to Do in Memphis is to get your picture made in Amurica.

Amurica isn't just the place where some of us live - it's a 1950s trailer that's been converted into Memphis' coolest photo op. Its creator, photographer Jamie Harmon, describes it as "red, white trash, and blue."

The inside of the trailer is stuffed with benches covered in glittery vinyl, twinkle lights, photos, ephemera and plenty of props (like wigs, masks, baby dolls and rubber chickens) if you need some inspiration for your photo.

You can find Amurica's mobile photo booth in the Crosstown Concourse, and sometimes in Overton Square and other local festivals and events.
