Make plans to attend this year’s Memphis Japan Festival at the Botanic Garden on September 24, 2017 from and celebrate Japanese culture.

Here’s what they’ll have at the festival:
– Japanese music and dance
– merchandise, including anime merch
– cosplay contest
– children’s activities
– sumo suit wrestling ($5)
– Japanese candyman
– Martial arts demos
– Japanese food
– cultural exhibits
– Japanese garden tours
– performances and entertainment

This event is totally family-friendly and is just $5 for adults and $2.50 for kids ages twelve to three. If you’re a Garden member, it’s free. The ticket includes admissions to all the Gardens, not just the festival. This is a rain-or-shine festival.

I write about what’s going on with Memphis music, food, arts, events, sports, people, and culture. Memphians love Elvis and barbeque with a passion that must be seen to be believed, but there is so much more to this place.
