Happy Friday, Memphis! Here are the five things you won’t want to miss in Memphis this weekend, plus a few extras. Don’t forget that it’s the Levitt Shell’s summer concerts opening weekend, and the Orpheum Summer Movie Series starts tonight with the OG Willy Wonka.

I write about what’s going on with Memphis music, food, arts, events, sports, people, and culture. Memphians love Elvis and barbeque with a passion that must be seen to be believed, but there is so much more to this place.
