5 Things To Do This Weekend: 4/14 – 4/16

Happy holiday weekend, Memphis. Here are the five things you won’t want to miss this weekend, plus a few extras. If you’re looking for Easter events, keep scrolling.

1. Harbor Town Crawfish Festival, 110 Harbor Town Square, Saturday, noon – 7 p.m., $5 entry, all ages/kid-friendly
This year’s Harbor Town crawfish fest is back with live music, crawfish for sale, and more. Pay $5 to enter or bring two canned goods.

2. Hopped III, Memphis Made Brewing, Saturday, noon – 9 p.m., free to enter, 21+ to drink
It’s time for the third annual celebration of hoppy, springy beers. Glasses for the first 100 folks, limited beer releases throughout the day (yes they’ll have others that aren’t hoppy), Gourmade food trucks, Lucky Cat Ramen + MEMPops, plus live music. Family friendly.

3. Kaleidoscope Food Festival, Wiseacre Brewing Co, Saturday, 1 p.m. – 7 p.m., free, all ages/kid-friendly
The inaugural Kaleidoscope Festival in Binghampton is a chance to sample food from the multicultural chefs from the neighborhood, paired with Wiseacre Beer. It’s free to attend and kids and pets are welcome.

4. Condomonium, Playhouse on the Square, Saturday, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m., your age + $5 (max $75), 12+
Local designers create stunning fashion pieces made of condoms as a fundraiser for CHOICES. Check out the living art show, live music, food and drink,  and a comedy performance from celebrity guest Lizz Winstead. VIP tickets are $100 for the pre-event champagne reception. If you see me, say hey!

5. Time-Warp Drive-In, Summer Drive-In, Saturday, dusk to dawn, $10 per person, all ages
Black Lodge Video and Malco Theatres present the 4th annual Time Warp Drive In series. The spring film nights including this weekend’s “Im With The Band” night: Scott Pilgrim, This Is Spinal Tap!, Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, Blast Off Girls (SWV).
