Opening Soon: Food Truck Park at Golf and Games On Summer

You can do a lot of different activities at Golf and Games on Summer Avenue (driving range, putt putt, laser tag, arcade games, batting cages, go-karts, bumper boats…) and as of this Saturday, you can do one more: eat some delicious Memphis food truck grub.

Golf and Games will open their Food Truck Park on February 11, 2017. The plan is to have a permanent setup with tables, restrooms, and a rotating lineup of trucks. I’m also hearing rumors of local vendors and free wifi. Golf and Games is an alcohol-free environment.

Opening day is this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a reported eight trucks, plus live entertainment. I know everyone’s big question is: which trucks will be there? Right now, I don’t know, but I’ll definitely update this if I am able to find out anything.

According to the Golf & Games calendar, the next one is set for March 4 for dinner only (starting at 4 p.m. tentatively).

It seems like a lot of this is still coming together, so stay tuned to the Golf and Games Food Truck Park Facebook page for the most up-to-date information.

I also have a Memphis Food Truck Twitter List, which is a list of food trucks’ Twitter accounts that you can subscribe to. Individual accounts update their location and schedules, though some are more active than others.

I write about what’s going on with Memphis music, food, arts, events, sports, people, and culture. Memphians love Elvis and barbeque with a passion that must be seen to be believed, but there is so much more to this place.

There is also a new food truck park that just opened at Winchester and Old Get Well. It’s called Memphis Food Truck Park.
