Attention Runners! St. Jude Marathoner Discounts & Deals

Memphis businesses want to say thank you to the 20,000+ runners participating in the St. Jude Marathon this weekend. Here’s a list of local spots offering discounts to runners.

  • Amerigo Italian restaurant (1238 Ridgeway Rd.) will offer 20% off select pastas and $1 off draft beers for runners with race bibs on Friday, Dec. 2.
  • The Arcade Restaurant will offer 10% off with bib Friday – Sunday, and free biscuits and gravy on Friday night.
  • The Art Project Memphis (in Overton Square) will give 20% off retail items if runners show their bib. (I’m not sure which days this offer is good for…)

  • Bikram Yoga & Inferno Hot Pilates at Overton Square will offer a free Pilates or yoga class to all marathon participants. (Call ahead to make sure of dates and availability)

  • The Brass Door downtown will open at 6:30 a.m. for a pre-race bag drop (they’ll hold your bag while you run) and free coffee for runners with credentials. They’ll have mimosa and Blood Mary specials after the race.

  • Delta Groove Yoga will offer 25% off any item in the boutique on Saturday or Sunday if you have a Marathon bib.

  • Five In One Social Club on Broad will offer 10% off and free “Made In Memphis” stickers
  • The Fogelman Downtown YMCA will offer childcare for children of adults running any St. Jude Marathon weekend race. Space is limited; register ASAP.
  • The Grizzlies will offer discounts on tickets for the Thu. Dec 1 (v. Orlando Magic) and Sat. Dec 3 (vs. LA Lakers) games. Buy online and use code 16SSLSJM.
  • HM Dessert Lounge (1586 Madison Ave.) will offer 10% off entrees and desserts for runners with bibs on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Maximo’s on Broad will open at 5 p.m. on Saturday and is offering a 10% discount to runners with bibs.

  • Mbabazi House of Style – USA on Broad Avenue is giving 10% discount with race bib or registration confirmation.
  • Memphis Animal Services and MIFA team up for a special “Mutts for MIFA” dog adoption event from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday. This is totally open to the public, but who wouldn’t want to cuddle a pup and have some hot chocolate after a run? More info here.


  • Memphis Made will offer a free 10 oz beer (!!) on Saturday for runners wearing their medal. (The taproom is open 1 p.m. – 10 p.m.)
  • Memphis Pizza Cafe Midtown will offer 10% for all runners with medals or bibs on Saturday (open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.)
  • MEMPops (1243 Ridgeway Rd.) will offer $2 popsicles for runners with race bibs on Dec. 2 – 4.
  • Phillip Ashley Chocolates (798 Cooper St.) have chocolate covered bacon for runners! Show your bibs for bacon Saturday 12/3/16 10am-7pm
  • Shelby Farms will offer a $5 discount for tickets to Starry Nights on December 3 and 4 for runners with bibs.
  • Sweet Grass and Sweet Grass Next Door will give 10% off to runners who bring in their bib on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Victory Bicycle will give 20% to runners with bib/registration confirmation.

    T Clifton Art will give 20% off framing of marathon-related memorabilia – bibs, photos, medal, etc. Come see us by Dec 16 if you want it by 12/24.
