The Beale Street Music Festival 2016 lineup won’t be officially announced until February 24, 2016. However, past experience has taught us that some of the artists featured on their Facebook page leading up to the announcement may be included in the final lineup.

Every day, BSMF is giving away a 3-day pass for those who like and comment on the “Song Of The Day” posts. Or you can go ahead and purchase your pass by clicking here.

Beale Street Music Festival 2016 will be April 29 – May 1, 2016 at Tom Lee Park in downtown Memphis. I’ll have the lineup posted on I Love Memphis as soon as I’m legally allowed to do so! Note that stages and times won’t be announced until later in the spring, but you’ll at least know what days what bands are playing by the 24th.

In the meantime, check out last year’s ABCs of Memphis In May, and Photo Dispatches from Day One, Day Two, and Day Three of BSMF to get yourself pumped up.

Here are the artists featured on BSMF’s “Song of the Day” posts so far:

  • Paul Simon
  • Cypress Hill
  • The Struts
  • Young the Giant
  • Weezer
  • Bastille
  • Julien Baker
  • Jonny Lang
  • Meghan Trainor
  • Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats
  • Jason Derulo
  • Grace Potter
  • The Arcs
  • Indigo Girls
  • Modest Mouse
  • Houndmouth
  • Beck
  • Panic! At the Disco!
  • Zedd
  • Yo Gotti
  • The Lone Bellow
  • Train

Keep in mind there are usually about 60 – 65 acts over the three-day festival, so these bands are only a fraction of the possibilities. Expect plenty of surprises come February 24th.

How can I go about getting my band on this show?

I think the bookings are done well in advance – you’d need to contact Memphis in May directly for future years.
