Here’s what’s going on in Memphis this holiday week, plus a preview of this weekend. Don’t forget that there are quite a few ongoing holiday events. Check out the holiday guide here.

Monday

Pears, SVU, and Hauter at Murphy’s
Punk thrash metal music on a rainy night. 9 p.m. $7. 21 and up.

Tuesday

Memphis Men of Harmony Chorus Performs Christmas Carols In Overton Square
Catch the holiday tunes from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Festivus Seinfeld Trivia at the Rec Room
Test your Seinfeld knowledge from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. at Trivia With Kevin Cerrito. Team reservations are required. 18 and up.

Wednesday

Memphis Dawls Farewell Show at Lafayette’s
After a few years of serenading the world, the ladies of the Memphis Dawls are taking a hiatus. Your last chance to hear them (and lots of special guests) starts at 7 p.m.

Maitre D’s at the Buccaneer
They’ll perform the Booker T Christmas album for the last time this year at 10:30 p.m. $5 cover, doors at 10 p.m.

Drive By Caroling
Join fellow Memphians with holiday songs in their heart as they crash various bars and other fine establishments singing carols. As of now, they’re meeting at RockHouse Live in midtown at 6 p.m. and going from there.

Thursday (Christmas Eve!)

Friday

Have a Merry Christmas! Click here for a list of places that will be open on the 25th.

Weekend

Comedian Andy Flemings hosts his annual Boxing Day comedy show at Midtown Crossing Grill starting at 8 p.m. on Saturday. It’s free! A bunch of your favorite Memphis comics will perform.

Play board games, color, and drink Wiseacre at Five In One Social Club’s “Indoor Recess” night on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 21 and up.

Hope Clayburn and the Soul Scrimmage perform at The Cove at 10 p.m. on Saturday. Devil Train performs at Young Ave. Deli at 10 p.m. on Saturday.

Starry Nights at Shelby Farms continues through Sunday, December 27. Snowy Nights at the Memphis Botanic Garden continues until December 30.
