I write about what’s going on with Memphis music, food, arts, events, sports, people, and culture. Memphians love Elvis and barbeque with a passion that must be seen to be believed, but there is so much more to this place.

    Hey Holly,

Thanks to you and Savannah for the great information. I’m stopping over in Memphis on a road trip tomorrow (Thurs) and would love to show some of the cool spots to my girlfriend who has never been there before with the caveat being that we are on a really tight budget. Any suggestions for the best happy hour (beer, wine, apps, music) and after for a fun time on a budget? – We are equally comfortable with classy or dive destinations lol. Any info is appreciated.

    Thanks
