Craig Brewer Talks Indie Memphis: ILM Podcast Bonus Bonus Clip
Indie Memphis' 17th Annual Film Festival kicks off one week from today. From October 30 to November 2, Overton Square will host dozens of film screenings for movies of all genres, plus special events featuring filmmakers, actors, and musicians.
Director Craig Brewer, president of Indie Memphis, was the special guest on the October I Love Memphis podcast. We've pulled out a part of that conversation where Craig talks about the Indie Memphis film fest to be our BONUS bonus podcast clip for October.
If you want to listen to the whole podcast, go here or subscribe on iTunes. If you want to learn more about Indie Memphis, read last year's interview with the fest's Executive Director Erik Jambor to find out five reasons you should go to the festival.
Stay tuned for a list of the must-see films at Indie Memphis that I'll publish first thing next week. If you want to see the schedule go here. Remember, a four-day pass totally isn't necessary. You can buy individual movie tickets if, for example, you just want to catch a certain local film or one of the big gala screenings (like "Heathers" or "Hoop Dreams").
