A Map/Slideshow Experiment

Let's try something. Here's an interactive map showing all the posts on I Love Memphis from May 2014, and their associated locations around town. You can click through to see photos and read a description, then click on "read more" to open that post in a new window if you're interested. You can also click on a location on the map to see what I wrote about that place.

– This really works best for a desktop or laptop. (Though it's not impossible on mobile.)
– Just ignore the "loading" message and click the arrow to start. "Loading" goes on forever, but it's lying, it's ready to go.

Thoughts on this mapping experiment? Would you like to see more of these?

I write about what’s going on with Memphis music, food, arts, events, sports, people, and culture. Memphians love Elvis and barbeque with a passion that must be seen to be believed, but there is so much more to this place.

Cool idea, doesn't do that much for me personally because I'm a memphian who pretty much knows where everything is, but I can see it being beneficial to others
