Help Me Give Away Kroger Gift Cards To Your Favorite Organization (Giveaway Ended)
To mark the third year of their Community Rewards program, Kroger gave me four gift cards to offer to my readers' favorite charitable organizations. All you have to do to nominate your church, non-profit, or charity to win is to leave a comment on this post with the name of the organization in the next 24 hours.
***Wow! The response for this was great. I drew comments randomly out of a hat and here are our winners***
$25 Kroger gift card: Mid-South Spay & Neuter (nominated by Trista)
$25 Kroger gift card: Harwood Center (nominated by Billy)
$50 Kroger gift card: Urban Bicycle Food Ministry (nominated by Frank Rouse)
$100 Kroger gift card: Memphis Pets Alive (nominated by Andra)
Congrats to the winning organizations! I'll get with you within the week to make sure you get your gift card.
Tomorrow at 10 a.m., I'll randomly draw four organizations' names for a $100, $50, and two $25 Kroger gift cards and later deliver them to the winning organizations. (Need some ideas on who to nominate? Here's a list of the Project 50 organizations so far.)
The Community Rewards program is simple. Nonprofits, schools, and churches can register and receive a percentage of sales from people who sign up wanting to support those organizations. You may want to sign up if you shop at Kroger, so some of your dollars will go back into the community. Here's how it works:
- Local charitable organizations (nonprofits, schools, churches) register here.
- You sign up here and then select your favorite organization.
- Every time you shop, a percentage of your sales go back to the organization you picked.
Kroger is a ginormous company, but it's giving $1.5 million just in the Mid-South this year - so this Community Rewards program is legit. Don't forget to comment on this post with the name of your favorite organization and they could win some groceries/gas! I'll do the drawing tomorrow at 10 a.m.
