Win Tickets to “A Night At The Museum” Halloween Party

In the next couple of days, I'll be giving away tickets to several Memphis events. First, I have two tickets to the annual Friends for Life Halloween party, which is this Saturday at the Pink Palace.

The theme is "A Night at the Museum" – as in the Pink Palace Museum, not the Ben Stiller movie (thank goodness). Tickets are $40 per person with the proceeds going to Friends for Life, a Memphis non-profit organization that works with people affected by HIV/AIDS.

Go here to purchase tickets and spend this Saturday at the Pink Palace enjoying food, drink, a costume contest judged by local celebrities, and a DJ. Here's more information about the event.

To win tickets, just leave me a comment on this post, a Twitter reply or a Facebook comment and tell me what costume you'll wear to the Friends for Life party if you win. Use #ilovememphis or #friendsforlife  if you're replying on Twitter. I'll choose the winner based on creativity and announce the results tomorrow morning.

I write about what’s going on with Memphis music, food, arts, events, sports, people, and culture. Memphians love Elvis and barbeque with a passion that must be seen to be believed, but there is so much more to this place.

My husband and I would love to win tickets, we only recently moved to Memphis so are looking for some new places to see! I'd be dressing up as Poison Ivy from the Batman comics with my handmade costume.

I'd LOVE to do this and it's my birthday on the 28th, so really, you'd be giving me the gift of something to do and I would go as an old–school-from-the-mall GLAMOR SHOT

  5. Bri says:

Hi! My fiancé and I would dress up as a zombie bride and groom since our wedding is exactly one week after the party! Can you imagine the picture comparisons? I think it would be hilarious!

  6. Stephen B. says:

Pick me! Pick me! Pick meeeee! I am dressing up as "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". I am taking the expression very literally this year!

  7. Holly Whitfield says:

Bri, I think the picture comparisons would be hilarious as well. Tickets are yours! Pick them up at Will Call at the Pink Palace. What's the name to put them under? Bri Samuels?

  8. Bri says:

Yay!!! That's the correct name! We are excited! Thanks!
