The paintings, which are both from the late 19th century, are by French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir. "The Loge" (1874) and "The Umbrella" (1878) are both examples of classic French Impressionist art created at the beginning and peak of the movement.

The paintings are on loan to the Dixon from the Diane B. Wilsey Collection. They'll be on display through September 2, 2013.
