This afternoon, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are having the best house concert ever.

Memphis musicians Justin Timberlake, Mavis Staples, Steve Cropper, Ben Harper, Charlie Musselwhite and Sam Moore will play a special concert at the White House this afternoon.

Booker T. Jones is slated to be the bandleader, and Cyndi Lauper (who recorder her last album here) is also expected to make an appearance.

This morning, there was a Memphis music workshop, and the main event is scheduled to happen at 5:55 p.m. (Central).
