I went there Saturday night on this advice, and you were spot-on about their selection.  Hell, they have Goose Island beers, for anyone who has tasted them in the Chicago area! However, their check-out lines took forever.  Maybe going in there on Saturday night wasn't the best idea, but their beer selection is all that you say and more.

Does anyone know if this applies to other Cash Savers? I just realized this weekend that there's one not too far from me on Perkins.

Steve, Goose Island is owned by Anheuser-Busch now, that's why it can be found here.

Oh, great.  I hope they left the formulas alone.

The best time to go there is early on Sunday mornings.  It can get quite congested in there because we all love the great prices.

Have anyone checked out the Midtown Market's Beer Selection? Short line at the check out and local family owned business will always keep you smiling... Companies that dump craft beer on the market will not only kill locally owd buness but will also make the craft beer brewery get bought out by large corporate distributor!!  I guess as long as corporate owned mega grocery companies and mega coporate distributors keep dumping craft beers on the market small mom and pop stores will go out of business!!! Support Local!!
