Here are some thoughts on this year's lineup from a Memphian and a music lover.  http://thewiseguise.com/2013/02/knee-jerk-reactions-to-beale-st-music-festival-lineup-2013/#more-5195

Worst line-up ever.  The person who picks these performers needs to be fired!!!!!!  Memphis is changing...chane with it and $85 dollars for that line-up is a waste of money.  I had friends coming in town for that weekend but we will not be going to the Music fest.

Your line up is not culturally and ethnically balanced.  I went to the Mobile Feast last year and it was AWESOME.   Our travel club goes to various venues.  1st time we tried Memphis and it will be the last time.   Very shocked, we have a group trip planned to come to Memphis that weekend and we are going everywhere except the Musical Festival.  HORRIBLE LINE UP!
