Shalishah is the creative force behind Strange Fruit Vintage, an online vintage clothing boutique. If you her about one of her occasional pop-up shops, go – it’s the only time you can try on her awesome vintage clothes in person.

In other news:

– Consider this your weekly reminder to vote. Early voting for the referendum on school consolidation is now open, and very few of us have voted. It’s one question. Go do it, okay?

– Good news! Memphis is being included in the EV Project, which is a pilot program that is installing electric vehicle charging stations in a handful of cities around the country. Memphis is the 18th city to qualify for the program.

– It’s no secret that Memphians love Chef Ryan Trimm’s new-ish Cooper-Young restaurant, Sweet Grass. Now, it’s time to let everyone else know. Chef Trimm is nominated for Food and Wine’s “The People’s Best New Chef” award. To show your love, cast your vote.
